Rug Cleaning Services

Upon arrival at our facility, each rug is inspected. We’ll examine the fringe, main body, and edges. If there is any damage, we can protect it from getting worse during cleaning. We also determine the type of fiber and the most efficient cleaning method.

All rugs hold a certain amount of insoluble soils (lint, pet dander, hair, carpet fresheners, etc.), which cannot be dissolved by water. Most are not removed from the rug during normal vacuuming. After the inspection, the rug is turned upside down on a metal grid. Our dusting equipment gently pulsates the rug, removing the insoluble soils and depositing them in the grid. 

Once this process is completed, the rug is ready for cleaning.

If required, your rug will be treated for urine and the pH will be stabilized before submersion cleaning. While the odor is typically easy to remove, pet stains and the resulting damage may be irreversible.

If regular steam cleaning doesn’t thoroughly clean your rug, we clean it in our wash pit. This allows us to submerge the rug in three to four inches of water and carefully roll it to ensure saturation. Next, we add our cleaning agent and gently brush it into the rug. Each rug is tested for colorfastness before submersion. We only use cleaning solutions that are safe and designed specifically for your type of rug.

Once soil removal is complete, we add fresh water to the wash pit and remove all soiled water. All pollutants are drawn away and pumped out of the wash pit. 

We remove the rug from the wash pit and hang it on our custom drying tower, carefully positioning it before the drying equipment to remove all moisture as efficiently as possible. Once dried, we perform a post-cleaning inspection to ensure successful results. If it doesn’t meet our standards, we repeat the process.
