Our process begins with a proper pre-inspection. When our technician arrives, they’ll check all the areas you want to be cleaned to determine carpet type and the origin of any spots. We’ll also note other areas of concern like loose tack strips and torn or frayed carpet. Next, the tech will discuss with you the cleaning process and the best way to remove any spots and tackle any other issues you have. The technician will then provide a written quote before work commences so there are no surprises when our job is done.
Our technician will thoroughly vacuum your carpets with a commercial-grade vacuum. This is a crucial step for removing loose dirt hidden in the carpet fibers.
All carpets are pre-sprayed to break up embedded soil. Spots are pre-treated with a solution designed to treat that particular type of stain, such as wine, blood, makeup, rust, etc.
Depending on how dirty your carpets are, they’ll be pre-groomed with a carpet groomer or rotary cleaning machine to loosen any remaining embedded soil.
Once the dirt has been loosened, we’ll employ our truck-mounted hot water extraction process to thoroughly flush the dirt from your carpet. Pressure and heat are regulated so the carpets are never overly wet. The only equipment our technician will bring in is the hoses and steam wand.
If any spots remain, specialty spotting techniques are applied. Permanent stains may not be removed.
Some carpets benefit from a dry bonnet process for faster drying. It also prevents wicking of spots on some carpets. Our technician will determine if this step is recommended in Step Five.
Once cleaning is completed, the carpets will be damp, not wet. Some clients choose speed drying. To do so, we set up high-velocity air movers to aid the process.
The carpet pile is groomed with a grooming rake to bring the pile back up. This also helps it dry faster. If you wish, a deodorizer or carpet protector may be applied first to ensure maximum penetration in the carpet.
Our technician will walk with you through the areas cleaned to inspect the work. They’ll also present you with free shoe covers and a free bottle of spotter.
Our team is happy to work with you to set up a scheduled maintenance program customized to your facility, including the application of a carpet protector. Over time, factory-applied protectors wear away due to regular foot traffic and the use of high-alkaline cleaners. Ensuring your commercial carpets are well-protected keeps the dirt from bonding to them.
Benefits of carpet protectors include:
